With a string of remixes, refixes and original material exploring all corners of his bashmentfunky-soca territory twentysomething Brit Murlo has established himself firmly on the forefront of the global bass movement over the last year or so.
He kicks off the "Quartz" EP with two gentle and lush dancehall riddims, laden with his signature swirling melodies («Prism» & «Quartz»), then turns up the tempo a notch for an anthemic percussion workout («Patang») to smoothly round things off with a majestic funky roller («Soundboy»).
